Setting Up Keyboard Shortcuts on the Magic Leap Simulator

Setting up keyboard shortcuts on the Magic Leap Remote Simulator can make running and playing around in your apps a lot easier.

1. Open the Magic Leap Remote Simulator

In the magic leap remote simulator click the three dots next to the peripheral option.

Click Edit Peripheral Bindings… in the popup menu.

2. Setup your Keyboard Shortcuts

In the Action Bindings window click on the Unmapped  option in the Peripheral – Key/Mouse column next to the command you want to set a keyboard shortcut for.

When the spinning wheel shows in the Unmapped box press the keyboard or mouse button you want to map the command too.

You should see that key code/mouse button show up in the box instead of the word Unmapped.

When you choose a key like the space bar the box doesn’t always enlarge enough to show the full key code.
